Where else could you learn to fly aerobatics, under instruction from current and ex RAF servicemen, visit Royal Air Force Stations, tour foreign countries, play sports from local to International level, learn the skills to lead expeditions, become a target shooting marksman, gain your Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, assist your community, learn aviation subjects and get BTEC qualifications to prove the knowledge, go caving, parachuting, climbing, sailing, skiing
There is no obligation to join the Royal Air Force but many Air cadets do go on to do so, finding their ATC training useful during their basic service training.
